Austin started playing piano around the age of
six, and with the help of his grandmother quickly
learned the basics of his newly obtained
instrument. In the 5th grade he joined Lutheran
High's, Minute Men Jazz Band.
After leaving his
duties as a "Minute Man" in 7th grade, he
switched Jr. Highs from Cerro Villa to Orange County High school of the
Arts. Once at his new school, he became apart of the Jazz Department's
Combo lll. After a successful yet frustrating year, he auditioned for the
Ambassador Jazz Orchestra, also apart of OCHSA's Instrumental Music (IM)
Jazz Department. Austin is currently 15 years old living in Orange California.
Recently, he has been performing solo at occasions such as the Balboa Bay
Club in Newport Beach, and the Villa Park Boat Parade.
