About Teen Jazz
In-Depth Information and Frequently Asked Questions
How did Teen Jazz get started?
TeenJazz.com, owned and hosted by Shannon Kennedy, has served several different purposes as a website over the last few years. In 2003 when Shannon Kennedy first bought the url teenjazz.com, Teen Jazz was the home page of a band she was in called Night_Vision, but after the band broke up, she later begin using it as her own personal website.
However, with Teen Jazz being the theme of the site, Shannon began changing the purpose of the site to be for Teen musicians, writing articles that gave advice on being a musician and offering hosting to kids who were interested.
As the site continued to develop, the demand for more information about other artists and aspects of music increased. Shannon began several series of music articles on everything from career advice to instrument, CD, and concert reviews. Shannon also began doing interviews with several established musicians to get the inside scoop on how they got to where they are with their careers, and what exactly they are doing in the music business.
